Dear Life

Dear Life,
I have no regrets.  As a matter of fact, when was the last time that I said, I love you? Thank your for all of the experiences - The lessons learned made me wise; the 'failures' made me strong; the women made me the woman that I am; the men made me smile; the laughter of children made me dream; the sun made me shine.

Thank you, life, for educating me about consequences; for introducing me to frequencies that have elevated my soul - helping me to rise up and manifest my here and now, to live in the moment, to walk with gratitude on my right and spirit on my left.

I love you, life.

    As we all know life is the best teacher whether you're conscious or unconscious but you learn more when you're conscious and you're taking in all of The Good the Bad and the Ugly that she has to offer but in the end life wins life wins

Feelings - Denial of the Heart

Who's been here before.  Resisting love as if we can control the natural hormonal influx followed by the fight between the heart and the desire to win, only to be stuck in between yourself.   Check out this poem I wrote during a 10 round fight between myself.  I won....or did I? Denial of the Heart Can you blame me for giving into his touch? His hands are like mmmm, and his lips - too much. Cant give into the temptation, its not good for my heart. When I first met him, it was strictly for art. Don't want to love him, I don't have the time. Dude you need a girlfriend, cause you'll never be mine! No, I'm not your lady and you're not my man - I can fight this feelings, believe me I can! If you really love me, you'll help me resist - I need to forget that I've ever been kissed! Next time you see me, it's back to business. Don't want you, don't need you,  and, yes, my hearts a huge mess.

Who are you - am I

I wrote this poem  as a result of people watching - noticing the extreme efforts people(including me, at times) go through to NOT make eye contact.  We  either claim to be in a hurry and/or we have declared our independence from the world around us, and/or we have developed such an intense love affair with our technology that the need to make organic contact is a thing of the past.  In any event, have we become so out of touch with our surroundings that we have completely forgotten what the impact of a smile, a nod, or any kind of acknowledgment can have on the potential recipient? Is it fair to say that the discovery of one another has been placed in the hands of dating sites and meet ups  that promise a 'match' you with someone worthy or of Like-mind-and-quality?  What are your thoughts?
